Upcoming Webinar: Citizen Science opportunities in museums for river landscapes

Join us for a webinar on citizen science opportunities in museums for sustainable, resilient, and socially fair river landscapes!

Museums have a focal role in (adult) education for restoring the river landscapes across Europe. The existing approaches of citizen science bring new pathways for engaging citizens for raising awareness of rivers ecosystem services and adoption of nature-based solutions.

In this upcoming webinar, we will highlight opportunities for museums, visitor centers, and others in the Danube basin on how to engage with the public and communities via citizen science. We will also introduce the plans to cooperate within the Danube Basin via a Regional Danube Water Museum Network. We see this as an opportunity for local actors to network, exchange knowledge and learn as well as gain visibility and recognition in the region.

When and where? 5th of June 10 – 12 AM (online - see details below)

For whom? (Water) museums, visitor centers, and other interested civil organizations in the Danube basin
