Life-giving waters: How do we shape the fate of our rivers?
DANUBE4all project partners at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) held a public science event for a Hungarian audience on 25th September, 2024 as part of a new series of events dealing with community science. The event, Living waters: how do we shape the fate of our rivers?, aimed to disseminate recent research and projects associated with water resource management across Hungary, and Europe. The event had strong relations to the Danube4All project, which was reflected across multiple presentations, including project partners from BME and WWF Hungary. One of the key messages from the event and a main aim of the Danube4All project's ambitious Restoration Action Plan drew attention to and emphasised the holistic actions on the Danube River Basin for effective river restorations.
